Celtic Salt 302' - Selina Naturally

Celtic salt is a type of unrefined sea salt harvested primarily from the coastal regions of Brittany, France. It is known for its light gray color, slightly moist texture, and trace amounts of naturally occurring minerals such as magnesium, potassium, and calcium. Like all salts, its main component is sodium chloride.

Unlike regular table salt, Celtic salt is minimally processed and typically contains no added anti-caking agents. The small amounts of minerals it contains contribute to its distinctive taste and appearance, but they are generally not present in high enough amounts to provide significant nutritional benefits.

People use Celtic salt primarily as a seasoning and finishing salt because of its unique flavor and texture. Some also choose it as an alternative to refined table salt or use it in homemade electrolyte drinks. As with any source of sodium, excessive intake may increase the risk of high blood pressure and other cardiovascular problems, so it should be consumed in moderation.
