Cleavers is a climbing plant. People use the parts that grow above the ground to make supplements.
Cleavers contains chemicals that might activate the immune system and may also have a drying (astringent) effect on tissues.
People sometimes use Cleavers for bed sores (pressure ulcers), scaly itchy skin (psoriasis), and many other conditions.
Don't confuse Cleavers with Potentilla. They are both sometimes called goose grass, but these are not the same.
