D-mannose is a kind of sugar that is related to glucose. It's found in many fruits, and also occurs naturally in the human body.

Cranberry is a type of evergreen shrub that grows in bogs or wetlands. Cranberry is native to northeastern and northcentral parts of North America. The shrub has small, dark green leaves, pink flowers, and dark red fruits that are egg-shaped. 

D-mannose might help treat a deficiency caused by a genetic defect. D-mannose might also prevent certain kinds of bacteria from sticking to the walls of the urinary tract and causing infection.

Cranberry is most commonly used for the prevention and treatment of urinary tract infections (UTIs). Cranberry is also used for kidney stones, enlarged prostate, the common cold, and many other conditions. In foods, cranberry fruit is used in cranberry juice, cranberry juice cocktail, jelly, and sauce.

D-mannose is used for an inherited disorder called carbohydrate-deficient glycoprotein syndrome type 1b. It is also used for UTIs.
